Introduction

Odyssey invests in profitable, mid-sized, growing businesses in Australia and New Zealand, to fund organic expansion, acquisitions, management buyouts / buy-ins and shareholder restructures. Odyssey will invest in both control and minority equity positions.

We work closely with management teams and business owners, bringing experience and equity capital to maximise the growth and strategic value of companies we invest in. Direct involvement by Odyssey’s partners means quick, flexible decision making.

Odyssey recognises that careful management and sustained progress on environmental, social and governance initiatives will improve the environment and society as a whole and ultimately lead to better investment outcomes and returns over the longer term for all stakeholders in Odyssey, the Fund and the Fund’s portfolio companies.

ESG initiatives will vary across the different companies, sectors and regions in which Odyssey invests and ESG factors will impact the performance of Odyssey’s investments to varying degrees. Odyssey seeks to make continual progress on the priority ESG initiatives at each company.
