Odyssey Private Equity acquires a significant minority stake alongside the founders of leading supportive women’s footwear brand “FRANKiE4” 

Odyssey Private Equity Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that Odyssey Fund 8, LP (“Odyssey”) has agreed to acquire a significant minority stake alongside the founders of Brisbane-based podiatrist designed footwear label, FRANKiE4. The terms of the transaction are confidential. 

Founded in 2011 by podiatrists and a physiotherapist, FRANKiE4 is now a leading and award winning women’s fashion footwear label with a difference. The brands unique designs and patented support technologies are targeted at enhancing customer’s foot, lower limb and overall health. 

The Business has achieved strong growth across all of its distribution channels over recent years, including online, pop up & concept stores and its expanding network of retail and allied health stockists across Australia. 

Caroline McCulloch, CEO and Founder of FRANKiE4, said “At FRANKiE4 we combine our knowledge of bio-mechanics with a sense of style to design great footwear that women can feel comfortable in. We aim to alleviate and prevent arch and heel pain, plantar fasciitis, and foot pain in styles that women love to wear. The founders of FRANKiE4 were advised by KPMG Corporate Finance. Completion of the transaction is expected to take place at the end of July 2019.
